Wow! It's been such a long time since I've posted on here!
So much has happened over the years; My daughter got married 5 years ago, she had a micro premie last year (Savannah LaRae) 1lb 6oz, We had a major vehicle accident, and I had a knee replacement in September 2018.  All of these things were listed on my Facebook page real time!

I am currently battling cancer, and you are welcome to follow my journey on my other blog: https://wordpress.com/view/tessascancerjourney.home.blog

Due to my illness, I have not been able to complete many home or crafting projects. If I am able to get something done I will make sure to post a photo on this blog.

The First Harvest

My husband has been working hard in his greenhouse.
The radishes were the first harvest of the season. He decided to make a radish relish.
I just love how pretty the color turned out. I'm not really a radish person, but I can't wait to try it!
Nice job Sweetheart!

Haleigh's Bridal Shower

I made mini 1" cupcakes for my daughter's bridal shower a couple of weeks ago.
I didn't have time to make them from scratch so I used a box cake and it ended up making 100 - 1" cupcakes.
I took a photo of one next to a normal size cupcake to show the difference in size. They were so fun to make and I topped them with giant sixlets. Everyone seemed to enjoy them, they were just the right size treat.

Here is a photo of some of the mini cupcakes I made. So fun!

Valentine Decor

My husband made this beautiful frame for me for Christmas a couple of years ago. Normally I have this hanging in my bedroom, but I decided to hang it in my entry way for the main focal point of my Valentine display this year. This gift is very special to me.

I displayed just a few items in my entry way for my Valentine display, the frame Eric made for me with our wedding photos hang just above it.

This photo is a little fuzzy, but I just love this little craft.

I found this cute treasure at the local craft store. It cost less than I could make it for, and it saved me time.

My sister made this pillow and I thought it looked cute in the display. She is very talented and makes the cutest pillows!

This was another treasure that I didn't have to make! I love making crafts, but I love it even more when I stumble across something really cute that I just have to have!

Young Womens Bookmark Project

We made bookmarks at YW Tuesday. I had the girls decorate child size headbands with flowers and bling. This one is an example I made for them to follow, but I encouraged them to be creative. Below is what each girl came up with. It was fun!

LDS Young Womens Birthday Gifts

Last year we gave out these cute teddy bears I found on Oriental Trading's website. I put them into celophane baggies and added a tag that read "Have a Beary Happy Birthday". The girls really seemed to like them.

This year I wanted to do something regarding Owls since they have become so popular again. Our budget is much smaller than last years so I had to get creative. I found this cute image online and added a caption from the Primary Birthday Song, "Look "Who's" older and "Wiser" too, Happy Birthday to YOU!". I also used cute little blue sticky back crystals for the eyes. I included 4 Laffy Taffy in the bag then decorated with the Owl and a small touch of ribbon. Hopefully the girls will enjoy them!

Our trip to California

We took an unexpected trip to California at the end of July. Eric's dad was honored (along with many other Vets) in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Korean War. It was a very patriotic day being surrounded by so many people who have served our country!

My in-laws (Mom & Dad). Don't they look great!

We also took a little time to go to our favorite family destination. Bodega Bay and Doran Beach. The weather was nice and cool and overcast. Just the way we like it! We also went to Occidental and ate at our favorite restaurant located at the Union Hotel. It was just what the doctor ordered! We truely loved spending time with our family!

The Union Hotel. Houses a family style restaurant, which has the best food around!

I just love the Northern California Coast. It's so beautiful!
