Our trip to California

We took an unexpected trip to California at the end of July. Eric's dad was honored (along with many other Vets) in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Korean War. It was a very patriotic day being surrounded by so many people who have served our country!

My in-laws (Mom & Dad). Don't they look great!

We also took a little time to go to our favorite family destination. Bodega Bay and Doran Beach. The weather was nice and cool and overcast. Just the way we like it! We also went to Occidental and ate at our favorite restaurant located at the Union Hotel. It was just what the doctor ordered! We truely loved spending time with our family!

I just love the Northern California Coast. It's so beautiful!

A little togetherness

Earlier this summer, my husband and I found some time to go to the park and enjoy a little nature. We had lunch and just enjoyed the afternoon being together.

I'm running a little behind schedule on my blog. But I wanted to post a few pics of my daughter's birthday which was July 13th.
Haleigh is a lover of all things zebra, so I threw some zebra fabric I had in my stash onto the table for a little decoration.

Organizing My Scarves

I have quite a large collection of scarves I've acquired over the years. I didn't have a great way of storing my silk ones, and was tired of them getting wrinkled. I decided to utilize the area behind the door to my bedroom. I hung a decorative curtain rod, and now store my silk scarves on it. When the door is open you can't see them, and when the door is closed, it's very colorful and organized. Problem solved and it was at minimal cost!

I'm thinking of doing a second one for my other scarves.

Park City 2012

Well, as many of you know, last September while my husband and I were on vacation, I had a bad fall at the Heber Valley Rail Road Station and broke both of my legs. I didn't get a chance to post any of the photo's I took because of the long recuperation I've been having. I have finally taken some time out of my day to post some of the pics!

First: I have posted some photos of our beautiful time share in Park City. We have been owners at the Westgate Resort for 8 yrs now and we love it. We only go every other year (one the even years), but each time is a new adventure. Our particular unit is a loft version. On the main floor there is a full kitchen, dining room, living room with couches, fireplace, TV, sound system. There is also a master bedroom with king size bed and large two person tub. There is a large main bathroom which houses a steam and waterfall shower. Oh, I can't forget the laundry closet. There is a balcony off of the living room and a hot tub for melting the stress away!

Upstairs is a large loft which has a couch that folds out in to a queen size bed. There is also a TV and bathroom.

With all the fold outs, our until can sleep 8 in all.

Here are some photos of the trail we like to walk. We were there in late September so they had all of their Halloween decorations out. I didn't include too many only a few that I thought were fun:

Here are a couple of photos that were taken at Homestead Resort in Heber City:
